Brian Regan

So I have to admit to loving Brian Regan. I didn't used to be a huge comedy fan... crazy since I love to laugh! But anyhoo, I was first introduced to Brian Regan my second summer in alaska... I think. It was one of the summers in alaska. Anyway I was introduced to him and now I love him! I love a lot of comedians now. Jim Gaffigan, Christopher Titus, Jeff Dunham (the puppet guy)... And a few others. ANYWAYS (jeez I'm getting sidetracked) Brian is coming to SAlt Lake City in March!!! And I want to go! but I don't want to go alone, so I need someone who loves him and will laugh with me to come along! Any takers??? It would be a whole lot of fun!!! It is a Wednesday or Thursday that he will be there so you can even take a vacay off school and work!!! Sounds fantastic right?! Okay just let me know cuz I'm dying to see this guy live!

Work is sooooo HaRd :)

So most of my time at work is spent on the computer playing games, catching up on facebook, reading books, and coloring. That's right... coloring. Crayons, colored pencils, activity books... the whole works. I have an entire bin that has crayons, markers, tissue paper, hole puncher, and about a dozen coloring books. When I brought it to work my boss was shocked. He asked what in the heck I was hauling in and I kindly informed him that it was my craft box. To which he had no reply but to laugh. Usually after 3 works slows down quite a bit. I can go all afternoon after JAred leaves and not get one phone call. It will be nice to have all this free time at work once school starts so I can do homework... riiiight. I highly doubt I will get any homework done at work. But you never know. I might surprise myself. lol. Please enjoy the following pics of my beautiful coloring. Also included is a pic of what my desk looks like. It doesn't exactly make for a speedy cleanup if a client walks in the door, but what can ya do?! One time a client walked in and I was trying to clean my desk up so fast that I dumped my container of crayons over. Don't worry they went all over the desk and rolled off to spread themselves across the floor. The lady looked at me like I was crazy. That was the last time that I took the liberty of using my ENTIRE desk for coloring. Now I just pick the colors I want and use a small portion of the desk. :) Oh well. I got sidetracked with that little story. Enjoy!

Random Thoughts...

Me and my sisters went down to logan this past weekend for the annual logan fair. Every year my uncle does a corn booth and the whole family comes to help shuck (sp?) corn and work the booth. It's fun to see the family and we have trade with all the other food vendors so we eat ourselves sick on yummy fair food!

Anywhoo me, Rach and Beaner are driving home and talking about all the people who have gotten married lately and all the people who are having babies. And it makes me crazy to hear about people who have JUST BARELY gotten married and are already trying for a baby! Hello people! Calm down, take a breather and just enjoy each other before you throw in a goo producing little person. I don't care what anyone says, having a baby just throws your whole life out of whack. These kids are only 19 years old and they only knew their husbands for like 6 months before they tied the knot. Get to know the guy a little better before you decide to have his baby... Jeez. If you are having to learn how to cook and how to work the freaking washing machine two weeks before your wedding you are definitely not ready to get married. Move out of the house, live a little and THEN get married.

On a completely different note, it was Deke's birthday on Saturday! He is one year old! I love my little man so much! He always brings a smile to my face! I can't believe how fast the past year has gone by. Can you believe it's already august?! It's crazy. A lot has happened in the past year. Definitely some hard times, but there has been a lot of good times too. Made a lot of new friends who I LOVE! I don't think I would have gotten through these past few months without them. It has definitely been a year of learning, but I'm happy with were I'm at now. And that's pretty much all a girl can ask for, right? Love ya!
